<p>Let’s talk about color! Because your brand’s color palette is doing a lot more than just looking pretty. Whether you carefully selected your colors with strategy in mind (gold star for you!) or just picked your favorites on a whim (we’ve all been there), your brand colors send a message. And that message better be the right one.</p>



<p>So, what do your colors say about your brand? Let’s break it down.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><span style="color: #993300;">Red:</span> Bold, Passionate, and Ready to Take Over the World</h3>



<p>Red is the color of energy, excitement, and, let’s be honest, a little bit of urgency (ever noticed all those red SALE signs?). Brands that use red want to stand out, be bold, and make an impact. If your brand is all about confidence, power, and passion, red might be your best friend.</p>



<p>Examples: Coca-Cola, Target, YouTube</p>

<p>Blue is basically the responsible adult of the color wheel. It’s calm, dependable, and makes people feel safe, hence why banks, healthcare companies, and tech brands love it. If you want your brand to scream “You can trust us,” blue is a great choice.</p>

<p>Purple has long been associated with royalty and wealth, but it’s also the color of creativity and imagination. Brands that want to feel unique, innovative, or even a little mystical gravitate toward purple.</p>

<p>Either way, let’s fix that. Because knowing <strong>who</strong> you’re trying to reach makes marketing easier, more effective, and way less like throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">What is a Target Audience (And Why Do You Need One)?</h3>



<p>Your <strong>target audience</strong> is the specific group of people who are most likely to love what you offer. They’re the ones who actually need your product or service, value what you bring to the table, and, let’s be real, are willing to pay for it.</p>



<p>When you know exactly who your people are, you can:<br /><br />✔️ Create messaging that speaks directly to them<br />✔️ Design a brand that attracts the right customers<br />✔️ Spend your marketing budget wisely (instead of guessing)<br />✔️ Actually connect with people who will buy from you</p>

<p>If you&#8217;ve ever worked with a web designer, you might have noticed a little link in the footer that says something like, <em>Website by [Designer Name].</em> It’s a common practice, one that many designers use to showcase their work and attract new clients. But here’s the thing: <strong>I don’t do it.</strong></p>



<p>Yep, that’s right. I don’t slap my name on the websites I design. Not because I don’t love my work (I do!), and not because I don’t want more business (I do!). But because <strong>your website should be all about YOU.</strong></p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Keeping the Focus on Your Brand</h3>



<p>Your website is a reflection of your business, your brand, and your expertise, not mine. When potential customers land on your site, the last thing they need is a distraction that takes them somewhere else. That footer link? It’s a tiny invitation to click away from your business. And that’s the last thing I want for you.</p>
